Hello, I’m Joanna, a writer with Design Shuffle, a leading portal for interior designers to showcase their brilliant work. I’m thrilled to be guest posting on the Balance blog today and share with you some of the lovely sunny rooms I found online. When you think of sunny rooms, the color yellow may just come to mind. However, there are many sun-filled rooms which boast other bright hues and brilliant whites. Here we’ve gathered some of our favorite sunny rooms, in hopes of inspiring some decorating ideas of your own.
Can you imagine waking to this sunny room every morning? What an explosion of color, pattern and texture! The brilliant artwork is made more vibrant by the simplicity of the bed and furnishings.
The ample ambient light streaming in from the window makes the brilliant pink of this bedroom even more so. The tiny touches of blue at the bedside table and the butterfly art on the wall amp up the sunny factor of the room beautifully.
A pure white canvas provides a playground for pops of color in vibrant pinks, yellows and greens. Rustic touches of weathered wrought iron mix with the crispness of white linens and upholstered pieces in the room.
A teenager’s dream room is set aglow with loads of color in pink, orange and purple. The crisp white walls reflect the sun streaming in from a window above a small desk.
This sunlit room with its traditional furnishings is made a bit less formal with its accents of fuchsia and lime green. The tall windows welcome the sunlight to stream in and brighten the room. This room offers many ideas for sunny living room designs.
Buttery and bold yellows provide a lovely mix of color against the roomís black accents in the furnishings and artwork. A small window siphons a burst of sunlight into the room making the yellows even livelier.
Another sundrenched yellow bedroom is accented with pink and rich dark wood. An eclectic mix of formal, and relaxed styles, make this room more welcoming.
Texture is the key element in many pure white vintage bathroom designs like this one. The sun streaming in from a small window plays off every surface such as the porcelain basins, marble counter tops and crystal of the small pendant lights.
