Amazingly clear day in SF today. #sf
While watching the two toddler boys this week I learned quite a few valuable lessons. Things like, naps are priceless. Keeping them busy is key. And getting out of the house whenever possible is a great idea! We got out of the house real good this week. All the way to Sausalito. Which required going through the big lady which was have a marvelous weather day if I do say so myself. I imagine the big lady likes to call these her good hair days. So there you have it, she was having a good hair day.

Ferry building. #sf

During this good hair day we got to drive down the embarcadero, through the red light district and China Town and past the Palace of Fine Arts. Then we got to pass over the golden goddess who was not being blanketed in fog, horray! And finally arrived at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. (Pssst…They have free days every first Wednesday. And now you know.)

Hello gorgeous! #sf

Did you know there is a paint crew who takes the entire year and paints the Golden Gate Bridge? Then, they turn around and come back the next year. Over and over. I’d like to say a personal thanks to that paint crew for keeping our golden goddess looking shiny and new.

Discovering...

We went straight for the tot area since it is specially designed for kids of exactly our toddlers ages. They had splash fountains to splash around in and fish for the kids to play with. Quinn was such a little gentleman when a little girl came up he offered her his fish. It wasn’t until a minute or so later when she wouldn’t give it back that he looked up at me with those big blue eyes and whispered ‘fishy’ that my momma instincts kicked into some serious high gear and I all but ran over another little kid to grab a fishy for my boy. Oh dear!

On the drive home we were taken over Nob Hill by our handy dandy google maps and all the way through Hays Valley. The architecture here is enough to make we want to live in the city. Bad!

Sure do love this city. #sf

Next time you’re near Sausalito.
Fort Baker

You might want to consider bringing rain gear for your tot.
Or at the least a change of clothes.
