Updates:
- Rhys is up to 3lbs 14oz. He’s still on a high-flow cannula and doing really well with it!
- Avery is up to 3lbs 12 oz. and is still on a cpap. Silly girl keeps forgetting to breathe every now and then, mostly when she’s being fed. The full belly is a bit distracting I suppose.
For Janet:
They are still being fed through their tubes. Rhys is up to 32ml and
Avery is at 30ml every 3 hours and are tolerating them like champs
with minor spit ups and gas.
They just came off of humidity and are still in their isolets. Avery
is on the cpap at around 28%-32%. Rhys is on a high- flow cannula at
around 21-23%.
They just had their eyes examined and I missed seeing the eye doctor
but the feedback was that Rhys’ eyes are more developed than Avery’s.
The doc will be back in 2 weeks to re-examine her.
They are getting caffeine once a day along with Iron and a
Multi-vitamin. And they are still fortifying my breast milk to 24
calories. 🙂
