I had a conversation with Quinn today about earning things. We were specifically talking about earning TV time during a rather snarky moment when I felt taken advantage of by my almost three year old and needed to regain the upper hand.
Thus, you need to earn it came out of my mouth followed by the I should make a chart idea bubble that hovered over my head until it turned into Charlie Brown frustrated squiggles because Quinn was still being a snarky little punk. Of course he was, you’re thinking, he’s is after-all almost three. Do you like that I told you what you were thinking…?? Was that rude of me…??
What’s great about this chart is the subtle insert of mama time – i.e.: take a nap, have quiet time, help mama…
