SIX DEGREES OF BLOGS I FOLLOW

As I bee-bopped away on the wide world of webby-ness last night, bouncing from my reader to Pinterest to Facebook to my Calendar to Flickr to … gosh it’s a really big web. It made my head hurt trying to think of all the blogs and websites out there that I have yet to discover. I just know from the bottom of my heart that this internet was created for our super nosy generation. I mean, common, right! We have everything about anything, anywhere at anytime at our fingertips. Like I said…it made my head hurt.

So I thought to myself, why not try an experiment? A seven degrees of Kevin Bacon kind of experiment if you will. My goal was to start on a blog that I had never, ever been to before in my entire existence and then link from them to another, then another, and another until finally I came across one that I know and love.

Challenge Accepted.

Shannon left a comment on my post yesterday with her website link just sitting there, calling my name. It was too perfect, serendipitous if you will. And you really shouldn’t stare a happy accident in the face, so instead I clicked over to her blog and began my experiment.

It took me exactly six blogs until I found a link to some common ground. And boy what a fabulous six blogs to have happened upon. My reader is getting larger and larger in dare I say epic proportions by the day. Although if it’s epic everyday is it really epic at all? Chew on that for a minute and get back to me.
