The sun has been shining round these parts lately and the Q dude is just loving it. The amount of energy this kid has is simply astounding. I wish I could bottle it up and keep just a tad for myself. He spent all afternoon outside with the neighbor kids bouncing from his push car to his scooter to his soccer ball to just running for the sake of running. Because the sun was shining and it was 66* and why the heck not?!
I’m trying to fit in more time for family walks in the mornings. We fell into this rather nice, but lazy routine these past few weeks when it was simply too cold to be outside too long and too un-sunny to want to leave the house. We would wake up, feed the babies and play for an hour or two and then the babies would go down for an amazing two hour nap while the Q dude and I read books, or played in his playroom, or just spent time being together. Then the babies would wake up we would all have lunch and they would all go back down for another two to three hour nap. I am a very blessed Mama right about now and I am fully appreciating it considering that teething season is right around the corner. Double the trouble, double the fun! Not to mention crawling.
No really, don’t mention it. I am sooo not ready for that.
