The view

We’ve been moved for almost one full week. The cable and Internet have finally been ordered, the living room has been partially unpacked, the nursery has been tapped off and prepped for painting. Quinn has gotten scraped knees, finger splinters, head bumps and bruises because of being an active toddler in a new space full of boxes. Eric has moved and rearranged furniture, gone to work, made a few meals and been all together awesome. And me… I’ve started to workout this very tired body and finally try to shed these last 5+ pounds. The last few pounds are the hardest.
And while it’s all very exciting and new over here, I do sometimes miss the view from our old place. The first yard that Quinn ever knew. The first street he learned how to cross and stay out of. The first neighbor; who was more like a grandma to him than a neighbor.

The new view is very exciting and full of possibilities, and soon it will be full of two newbies with lots of firsts to learn. Then, maybe it will feel a bit more complete.

Xoxo
