I received the text of all text’s yesterday. It was Google calendar writing to tell me that my hubs (Eric) had just added his graduation to the end of December. Say what?!?
If ever a jaw hit the floor mine surely did. Such shock ensued that an entire 20 minutes had passed before I realized I was mid email writing and sitting in my office.
Grad pops |
It’s almost here. The sweet smell of victory. 5 years of schooling and now the end is in sight. What ever will I do with myself when my Eric doesn’t have to rush off the clinic or a 7am class? Will I actually be able to spend more than an hour with him at the end of the day? Tell me oh women of the world, what does it feel like to have a husband not in school?
I have visions of us roaming the world, traveling to far away places like ‘The Europe’ or New Zealand. I would love to take the hubs to New Zealand. His ideal trip at the moment is to the great New York city. New York City? Yes, the big shiny apple on the other side of the country. He wants to spend a week or so just roaming about and visiting ‘the sites’. It does sound wonderful, perhaps I should start planning this trip to NYC for GRADUATION.
Still can’t get over that word. I think I’ll walk around all day shouting it at random passersby like a crazy person. It would be appropriate, don’t you think? 5 years of higher learning makes a person a bit crazy.
When does Dan start school?
