Ok you guys. Here’s the honest truth – from a twin mama.

I never, I mean never, thought I would get my abs back after having twins. I honestly never thought I would get rid of my birthing hips and love handles too, but here I am 3 years post twins and rocking a sweet six pack. And oh. my. gosh. I just have to tell you how tight my buns are. I’m not saying this to brag, I’m saying it because it BLOWS MY MIND!!! I don’t think I’ve ever had buns this high and tight, even when I was a swimmer in high school.

All that aside – there are three things I chose to do each and every day that got me where I am today. They’re simple. So simple in fact, that they become a bit too simple to do sometimes. You know what I’m saying? Some things are just so simple to do, that they are equally as simple to NOT do.

1 – Workout. There is no ‘quick fix’ to get rid of those last 5 baby pounds. There’s no pill to help you be healthy. You just have to commit, and do it!

But dude, this one is HARD – as a full time working mama with a crazy long commute I had a $15/mn gym membership for over a year and only used it a handful of times. Because getting out and going to the gym for over an hour was just so beyond my ability to do. But I COULD do an in-home workout system. And I was blessed to find my soul mate system – Piyo – on the first try, thanks my amazing coach and mentor! 30 minute workouts, 6 days a week and RESULTS!!! I was hooked, and I know you will be too when you try it!

2 – Drink Shakeology + Eat Clean.

Again, an easy thing to do. But just as easy to NOT do. When that 2pm slump happens an you just NEED that latte and cookie to make it through the day. Or when ‘that time of the month’ happens and all you want to do is hide in the closet with a package or Oreos… I mean, we’ve all been there, right? But again, those last 5 pounds won’t loose themselves. You’ve got to want it, and work for it, each and every day. Which is why i LOVE Shakeology + clean eating so much. Basic, healthy foods + guaranteed nutrition just makes sense to me.

3 – Coaching and accountability groups.

The biggest part of WHY I’ve been able to keep up with my workouts and my shakes + my clean eating, is because of being a coach. That extra level of accountability, of having other women and men looking up to me and counting on me… it really helps drive me to do and be the best that I possibly can. I can’t say it enough – this coaching business has seriously changed my life you guys!
