Coaching: Goal setting 2018

“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.” -Tony Robbins

Thank you Cleo Madison for partnering with me on this post and for the beautiful dress!

Good golly, It’s already March and I must confess that I have still not set my goals for 2018. I mean, not even a single one—except the one where I have two babies… but that’s a bit of a given.

It’s never too late to start stepping in the right direction, so here goes—my quick stab at a goals list for 2018.

  1. Exclusively nurse the twins for a solid 9-12 months. I KNOW I can do this! This time around is sooooo different than our last set at 28 weeks. I’ve been able to do more skin-on-skin time, have better tools for lactation and just feel much more confident.
  2. Look into homeschooling more seriously… I crave a bit more freedom and better 1:1 time with my littles. Their current school schedule leaves me so frazzled by the end of the day that I feel like I spent too much time snapping at them rather than just loving on them like I want to. Perhaps a change in schedule and a nice slower pace will help? Does this reality even exist?!?
  3. Keep my bedroom clean. I mean, I’m too old to still have piles of still stacked up in all of the corners and on top of all of the things. That, and it just drives me nuts! Lol
  4. Continue my health and wellness journey & share more of it. I’m not even going to stress about it, because I already have the tools to keep it going. So instead I’m going to focus on sharing more of it, all of it—the ups and serious downs, and how to restart instead of giving up when the road gets tough.
  5. Clear out my wardrobe and closet. I know this one seems easy enough, and I honestly do a pretty good job at it as the seasons shift. But I also still have some shirts from 10 years ago still in rotation (lets face it their just now finally worn in!), and some pants that just need to go. Cheers to a new (slow building) wardrobe this year!

And on that note… this little beauty from Cleo Madison is one of my new comfy faves. I wore it to Quinn’s baptism and a few other occasions just before the twins were born. The way it gently hugs my curves and belly and the super soft fabric made it a perfect maternity dress. And now that the twins are here I’m excited to style it for my postpartum figure as well.
