This week we are very happy to introduce you to our lovely guest host, Abbey of Along Abbey Road.
This week was pretty big for us at Westover Manor. Lots of big changes over here.
Some more unexpected than others, but all things happen for a reason and in their own season.
For one, Quinn turned 3!
Last night actually.
At 8:28pm the Q dude became a member of the league of troublesome threes.
For those of you with three year olds, you know what I’m talking about.
Three is the new terrible twos. Times ten.
We also lost a dearly loved cousin this week and I felt his passing very deeply.
He was such a joy every minute of his very difficult and very blessed life.
I feel his passing very deeply not only because of how sweet and loving he was, but because of what his Mother is going through right now. This kind of pain takes me back to the twins birth day when I feared for my babies lives and very nearly lost them both. Then, I only had the thought of that kind of loss, but now this mother is feeling the full force of it.
I cried a lot Wednesday night. I cried for him, I cried for her and I cried for all of the fear and pain she has felt over the years. A Mothers path is very unique and never easy.
I tell you all of this because it weighs very heavily on my heart right now.
We have had such cause for pain and grief mixed with overjoyed celebrations and I my heart is a little tired right now and not so easy to please.
I did manage to fall in love with these few things and am happy to share them with you now.
